Margaret Brown, nee Bryant, had her prayers answered on Saturday morning 18th April when the Lord took her to be with Him. She almost certainly died of the Coronavirus but has lived with severe dementia for several years. She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was also a faithful member of HCF for almost 50 years. She grew up in our fellowship, still known by many as Dalling Road Evangelical Church. Margaret served God as a lieutenant in the Girls (Life)Brigade, she led services, ran the Women's Own for many years, sang in New Dawn, our resident singing group , and she played the church organ. Margaret lead as an Elder in the 90s - to name just a few things she did! She loved the Lord and was loved by all who knew her. She touched so many people's lives with her gentleness, humility and wise words, led by the Spirit if God. Please pray especially for Tony, her husband, Ron, her brother and her extended family at this sad time. Margaret co-wrote four New Dawn songs; we will endeavour to post one of these songs which she sang as a duet with Ron - please excuse the quality of sound as it was recorded in a friend's home 40 years ago!
